The main character in this book is Zoey Redbird. She is a 16-year-old girl in the novel. She is a dynamic character in the novel because she gets marked by a vampire. That means that she is going to become a vampire as well. After that her whole life changed.

3. What is the novels setting? Why, in your opinion, did the author choose this setting for this novel?

The setting of this novel is at a high school meant for vampires. In my opinion I think that the author chose to use this as the setting because it is about a 16-year-old who gets marked by a vampire. She can't go back to her old school or to her our family. That meant she had to go to a special high school called The House of Night that is meant for her kind.

4. If you could be any character in the novel, who would you be? Why that character?

I think if I could be any character in the novel I would be Stevie Rae. The reason why I would be her is because she is a very nice person. She would go out of her way to help you even though she doesn't know you . She is Zoey's best friend even though no one likes her . Also she is a brave character in the noval.

5. Would you like to read more books from the same author? Why?

Yes I would love to read more books or novels from this author. The reason why I would love to read more is because in her novels she gets very descriptive and also the way the novel flows when you read it.

Playing in The Rain

Last night My best Friend Kendra and I was playing in the rain. I think that people should have more fun in the rain and play in it like Kendra and I. The reasons why I think this is because any one can have fun in the rain Also it is just fun playing in it.

Anyone can have fun in the rain at any time. No matter if your older or younger it fun just let go in the rain. You don't have to care on what you look like. It is for the fun of it.

You can do alot of thing in the rain at night. you can jump into big puddles and also you can wet your best friends. The one thing that I like to do in the rain is run around.

In conclusion, I think that every one should have some fun and play in the rain and let go for once. The reason why are anyone can have fun in the rain and you can do alot of thinks in the rain in the night.

Writing Paragraphs

Yesterday, we ate some bugs at school. Although you couldn't taste the bugs, you could hear them crunching in your mouth. The bugs were served in in fudge, cookies, and granola bars which tasted fantastic. We were given information about the heath and environment benefits of eating the insects. More people should be open-minded about eating bugs.

The surveyor had to lay out the straight kine for the 10 mile city. He had to plot a perfect line running north and south using his interments, his astronomical clock and his calculation.

4. What job did Benjamin Banneker get during this time? What was his title and who was he working for? (2 marks)
Benjamin Banneker's job was surveyor's chief assistant. He was working for President Washington and Thomas Jefferson.

5. How old is Benjamin in 1791? (1 mark6. How does Benjamin feel when he reads his name in the news paper on March 12th? (1 mark)
His name spelt ring again, but Benjamin carefully and proudly folded his copy of the new paper and laid it aside with his notes.
