In my opinion I think that the author chose to use this as the setting because it is about a 16-year-old who gets marked by a vampire. She can't go back to her old school or to her our family. That meant she had to go to a special high school called The House of Night that is meant for her kind.

I think main conflict that happen in this book would between Zoey and Aphrodite. They both dislike each other and it is all because that Zoey has great power and she is scare that Zoey will take her place as the leader of the Dark Daughters. Black Slavery

In the book that we are reading in my English class, it had a pair of the book that have black slavery in it. the book is call What Are You Figuring Now ?

In my own opinion I think that black slavery is a horrible think to do to someone else that you do not ever now. My reason why I think that black slavery is horrible because it rode to do to someone. It can effect the person how was a slaver later on he/her life. Also its just not right to take advantage of someone that you do not know about.

Its is very road to take away a kid from there live to become a slave. Becoming a slave would be hard on the kid or a young adult who is going to be on. Yo would have to do all the thinks that they tell you to do. Also it just not nice to do that to someone.

After someone who was a slave, it can effeck the rest of your life. It will be hard for someone after being a slave for so long it would be hard to go back on living the that you did. If would be different not doing someone elsestuff, but now doing your on stuff.

It is not right how some person can take advantage of someone. You can hurt them, mentally scar them, also it just not right that you can do that to some person that do not know what is happening to him/her.

In conclusion, I think it is horrible that some person can do this to another person for this society. There are my reasons why it just plane road, It can effect someone after being a slave, also it is not right to take advantage of someone. There are alot of hard thing that you have to go thought your life. The one thing that i found hard for me is that trying to do alot of things at once. It is hard to do sports, school, and going to work.

It is hard trying to do more then one sport. Right now I'm in cheer leading at Stamford High School. It is hard trying to do two different sports at once. One day you have to do one of the sports. Also you might have the two sports on the same day so you have to choose what one you want to do.

It can be hard to do iscgoing to school. There are alot of things that can happen there. You can have alot of stress because of all of the product you Will have to do. Also you have to time for your friends or sometime for yourself.

It is hard to get a job. It can be alot of work going to school, doing sports, and having homework you have to get done. When you have a job its hard to do allot of things.

In conclusion, i think live is hard. This are my reason why I think it is hard.

Why Everyone Should Have A Pocket Camel

Yesterday I got a camel. Not a real camel but a mini pocket sized camel. My best friend and I are saying that it is our kid and its name is Jimmy.

I think that everyone should have a pocket size camel with them at all times. The pocket camel can be your friends friend. They can protect you for danger. Also they are very easy to keep care of.

A pocket size camel is a great friend to have with you. They can make you happy when your friends are not around you. The camel can do what every you want it to do.

They can protect you any time your are in danger. You can use your pocket camel for a distraction then, your can use his/her as a weapon to protect you.

The pocket camel is so easy to keep care of. You don't have to walk it, clean up for it , and they are not messy.

That's all of my reasons that i think that everyone should have a pocket camel on you at all times.

If you did not see the whole movie you can discuss any evil you have heard of in the news.

Boys and Girl Should Be Separate in High School.

In my own opinion i don't think that boys and girl should be separate in high school. My reason why I thing this is because it would be different to have the same sex though out high school. Boys and girls will have more fights in high school.

In elementary school you were in a combined class room. So you use to it, but now going into an all boys/girls school would be hard to adjust it.

In an all girl high school I think there will be more drama then a combine high school. In an all boys high school I think they will be more fight there too.

Those are my reason why I think that high school student should be all combine together and not just in elementary school.

Introduction to News Reports

Key information comes at the beginning

My new report

-the most important information comes in the first sentence or two (the lead)

Marianne St-Gelais gave Canadians a solid silver present Wednesday to celebrate her 20th birthday.
The Montreal short-track speed skater sped to second place in the 500-metre event, keeping her nerve even after a false start and a crash on the first turn that required a restart.

-the information is presented most to least relevant

Most relevant: Marianne St-Gelais gave Canadians a solid silver present Wednesday to celebrate her 20th birthday.

Least relevant: keeping her nerve even after a false start and a crash on the first turn that required a restart.

-the reporter is not part of the story (the reporter writes using 'he,' 'she' or 'they' NOT 'I' or 'me').
