1. What event does Gloria describe as her most difficult time? Why was it difficult? Look on page 26.
On page 26 Gloria was aloud to Leave the hospital to go back to her home.

2. How many weeks after Gloria got out of the hospital passed before she started to work on her music again? Was her music a source of comfort?
It was a few weeks after Gloria left the hospital she started to work on her mucis. When she was working on her music she thought it helped her get thought her difficult time.

3. When did Gloria and the Miami Sound Machine begin to play their music again?
Gloria and the Miami Sound Machine begin to play their music in March of 1992. Also there played there music in many cities in the United States and around the world.

4. How does Gloria Estefan describe herself on the last page (page 29)
Estefan see herself this way "I'm an example of a Cuban American who's different from my mother and others of the generation... "

5. Reflect: Have you ever had to overcome something in your life that you did not think you could? What tools and skills did you use in order to overcome this ordeal?
The one think the I had to overcome when I was little was my speach. I had a very hard time when I was little to say some words. the tools and skills that helped me to overcome my speach problem.
The tools that I had would be that I has someone to help me when I was little to help me with my speach and work on it so it would be better then it was. The skills that I got out of this was to sound out words so I know what it spells and then to learn how to say it.
